Baccarat is played on the floor as well as ornate room of the casino with formally dressed dealers. The only difference between the two different places of game is who deals the shoe. It is the dealer who handles the shoe at all times including the dealing of the cards at the floor of a casino whereas in the room game the shoe is passed from one player to another. A player keeps the shoe as long as the hand is won by the bank. In order if the player wins the hand the shoe is passed to the next player.
Once, a lady always seems to deal a tie while she had the shoe. When she dealt after having the shoe passed to her on a tie, she started-off her bet with one $100 chip and lost it. She once again lost her bet of $300 on the tie. Her third bet was of on the tie of $500 and then the whole table was intent on the hand being dealt.
In the game being played in a room, it is the player with the largest bet who serves the card and always turns their cards over first. The lady player running the shoe turned over her hand to check how the hand was going to come out. The lady successfully won the bet and the whole table erupted and started to cheer. The previous highest bet on a tie in this whole game was $40 until this game was played.
