It is a proven fact that gambling is always profitable for the government. Whenever the government allows gambling they would also look for the profit margin in the gambling sector. The money which is invested in the field of gambling that is surely profitable for the government, there is certainly no doubt about that. But if somebody looks at gambling with people’s perspective then it look too dangerous.
The addiction of this game has caused people even for their lives. Money should be invested in the safe business that has the guarantee of the returns. But when somebody gets addicted to gambling then he certainly doesn’t think about the safety of the money. When his family is hungry and they need the food to eat, at that time the gambler will think about gambling and gambles away all the hard earned money and doesn’t even think about the family even for a second.
People who get addicted to gambling are the worst depressed people. There is a strong reason for that and that is less possibility of winning, nobody can guarantee that the gambler can win everyday but whenever he loses he gets depressed.
So for all these reason the government should not encourage gambling even though it is profitable for them.
