Roulette is a French word which means "small wheel". It is considered as one of the most well-known social casino games. The basic objective of the game is to guess the winning number on which will stop the ball after rolling on the wheel.
Basically there are two types of roulette game: American Roulette and European Roulette. The only difference between the two types of games is in the wheels where the two wheels is made by the zero added to the American Roulette wheel. On the basis of roulette version a person plays on the ball has to fall into one of 37 or 38 pockets on the wheel.
Playing roulette doesn’t require any skills or knowledge as Roulette is basically considered as a luck based game and is very simple and requires little time to be learned.
Roulette wheels contain numbers from 1 to 36 and are placed randomly around the wheel on red and black backgrounds. For numbers zero and double zero the pockets are green.
There are various types of bet a person can place while playing roulette and the payout for each type of bet is established in relation with its probability of the occurrence of that particular bet.
So even a novice player can begin off playing roulette by learning the basics of the game.
