1. Players decide blinds and antes and an initial amount is placed at the table which is termed as posting.
2. A standard pack of 52 cards is shuffled.
3. Each player gets two private cards face down known as pocket cards or hole cards.
4. Game starts from the layer sitting just left hand side of the blinds. This is pre-flop betting and normally betting progresses depend on players' call.
5. After betting is complete dealer removes the top card or burn card to prevent cheating.Online sports betting. Next to that the dealer flips top three cards and places them on the table face up which is called 'flop'. 7. Another betting round starts and player to the left of the dealer starts this round.

9. Player to the left of the dealer once again starts betting. After completing betting the dealer once again places one card on the table. This is termed as 'river'. Now a player can use any of the five cards placed on the table to complete a poker hand of 5 cards.
10. Last step in Texas Holdem Poker is showdown. This round starts from the player sitting left to the player who has finished last round of betting. Players who have not folded reveal their hands. Player with best combination of cards wins. Sometimes joint winners share the pot.
